Forget about the weekend, the must-do thing nowadays is going out in the middle of the week.  It doesn’t matter if you have to work or go to school the following day.  Clubs and lounges are opening their doors almost seven days a week.  If clubbing is a bit too much to handle for you and bars just aren’t your thing, definitely try a lounge.  The Sunset Strip in Hollywood is filled with them, and even though it’s not the only place to find lounges, it certainly is one that has many options.
A lounge that has been very popular lately is The Beach on Sunset.  It’s pretty a relax, kick back, hang out kind of place.  It has two patios and a great view of the LA skyline.  The appetizers are pretty tasty and the drinks are not pricey at all.  The people that go there are as varied as the city itself. If you just want to relax after work or school and you don’t mind mingling with all kinds of people (including Lindsay Lohan wannabe’s), go ahead- it’s worth the drive.
