A few months ago L.A. Live completed “Phase 2” of their current construction project. This new addition to the Nokia Theatre includes the ESPN studios and ESPN Zone, the Grammy Museum, Lucky Strike bowling alley, The Conga Room, and Club Nokia. The latter is a new posh nightclub/ live music venue that since its opening has attracted a wide variety of music acts, as well as a mixed and well-balanced crowd. While the appearance and the décor are quite simplistic, they’re also futuristic and chic. Filled with LED screens and color changing lights surrounding the pillars and the bar it gives this venue a party-hardy vibe. Club Nokia has a relatively large, fully-stocked bar that serves drinks throughout the shows- which is great news for those who like to constantly booze it up. A neat thing about Club Nokia is that it’s a rather intimate venue, no matter where you are, you get a clear view of the stage.
