The Basics: Nightlife in the City of Angels can be quite deceiving, especially for those who have partied hard elsewhere.  It all comes down to warehouses turned into antros… even the ritziest y los más pipiris nice son igual. Sin embargo, no todos los antros por estos rumbos fueron cortados con la misma tijera, there are a few exceptions.  One of those happens to be “Boulevard3”, perhaps one of the best looking and physically stunning nightclubs in the area.  “Boulevard3” is a gorgeous venue, spacious, with a modern and chic décor that will leave you con la boca abierta, there are bars left and right, an outdoor area with cabana style seating, fountains, and even fireplaces.

The dancefloor however is rather disappointing. Para un antro de este tamaño la pista de baile como que decepciona, not only would it be better if it was at least twice as large, but it’s also an accident waiting to happen since it’s a couple of inches off the floor.

While the crowd at “Boulevard3” is mixed, it tends to be heavy on the older (late 20’s, 30-somethings) side of the age spectrum.  

Even though the ambiance is chill and fun, as expected with any nightclub, especially in the central Los Angeles area, there is a bit of an attitude among party goers here and there.  You’ll come across the occasional snobby douchebag and one or two sk@nky ho3s.  

In the music department, “Boulevard3” no tiene nada nuevo que ofrecer, it’s pretty much the standard old school hip-hop, some reggae, Top 40, and a bit of dance.

Regardless of the standard music selection, the resident DJs know how to keep the party going and there’s never a dull moment, they like to keep things on heavy rotation…

Prepare to be blown away by some great eye-candy. The go-go dancers at “Boulevard3” sure know how to drop it like it’s hot, plus the acrobats and aerial dancers hanging from the dancefloor ceiling will blow you away.  

What to drink: Mixed drinks are the way to go. Their gin and tonics are well made and spiked to the max, well worth the price. Martinis at “Boulevard3” are quite popular; if you’re looking to catch a quick buzz their “dirty martini” will do the trick.
