Fangoria: “Absolutamente” la pura neta

A diferencia de otros artistas que optan por lanzar un album recopilatorio como conmemoración de su aniversario, Fangoria has ditched the idea of a greatest hits or a duet project in lieu of something more ambitious. For their 20th anniversary, Nacho Canut and Olvido Gara, a.k.a. Alaska, have decided to release “Absolutamente”. With this album, Fangoria aims to go back to basics while trying to find the perfect mix between vintage and contemporary sounds and music. Fangoria take the best from every single album they have released to date and deliver a fab and ferosh rock, electro, alternative, glam concoction that will have you on the dancefloor in no time aunque tengas dos pies izquierdos.

Absolutamente

For their latest album, Nacho Canut and Alaska enlisted Neal X and Tony James (back in the day from Sigue Sigue Sputnik) to take charge of the production and mastery of “Absolutamente”.

While Fangoria manages to put out decent albums, content wise they aren’t always consistent. However, for “Absolutamente” se han puesto las pilas and they managed to release perhaps their best material to date.  

“Absolutamente” is absolutely and positively an electropop/ alternative mish mash Warholian extravanza que te va a dejar con el ojo pelón.
