El Vampiro and Super Friends to Shimmy at Auto Club Speedway

Who are we kidding?! These guys don’t shimmy. They rock! “Undercover”, the super rock band composed of the musical genius-ness-ness of El Vampiro (former guitarist of pioneering rockers Mana), Mauricio Claveria (drummer to La Ley), Poncho Toledo (bassist to La Lupita, Mexican rock band know for causing havoc on stage) and Serralde (Spanish pop-rock singer best known for his stunt as a radio personality on Super Estrella 107.1FM) are performing at the grand stage of Discover IE FanZone of the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana.

The raucous is set to go down on Sunday, March 27 at 8:30 a.m., with an encore performance at 9:15 a.m. Sure it’s an early wake up call but with Latin rock legends making the call, we’d be crazy to sleep through this event.

The showcase is free so long as you purchase your NASCAR package. But at $35 for a deal valued at 100 buckaroos, it’s pretty much a steal. This special package includes:

- Entrance to the Auto Club 400
- Pit pass which allows you “in your face” status with the race cars and allows you to walk the race track
- Free, nutritious and hefty meal from King Taco
- Free parking  

 

You can grab your tickets for the event here, and somewhere in between the first and second “Undercover” set, stop by the bright yellow booth with the words "El Clasificado" on the tent. Rumor has it they’ll be giving away a gazillion dollars. Don’t quote me on that. I’m just saying.
