Leave it to a progressive theater group to turn one of TVs most beloved series into something completely outrageous, politically incorrect, and totally hilarious. In true Hollywood manner, you haven’t really made it in Tinseltown until you have someone in drag imitating you; behold the immortalization of The Golden Girls!  Contrary to what you might believe, “The Golden Gays” is not just a refrito de la serie de televisión… the story line is as bizarre as the characters themselves.  A therapist (Dr. Leche), has four very sick patients (three gay, one straight), all of them are detrimentally obsessed with a character from the series… after receiving advice from the living spirit of Marla Gibbs (legendary sitcom icon), he advices the men to dress in character and live their lives as the gals from Golden Girls. If that didn’t get you intrigued or at least wondering WTF is gonna happen next, it’s time for a coffee/ energy drink concoction.

Prepare yourself for a bitchin good time… la neta que these characters will have you cracking up like fireworks on the 4th of July.
