Seeing Things: Ghost Polaroids
Tuesday, 20 October 2009 12:25
With Halloween right around the corner, it is more than expected to find several art galleries join the festivities and showcase spooky and Halloween-themed exhibits. While there are many daunting exhibits out there, few are as scary as the one at drkrm.gallery, who once again bring you a hell of an exhibit. Even though it’s all made up of photography and a couple of videos, what makes “Seeing Things: Ghost Polaroids” utterly terrifying is the fact that it’s all genuine. All the photographs being showcased have been studied and are certified to be authentic- zero manipulation, after all, they were taken in the early 90’s when Photoshop and technology where out of this world and virtually impossible to afford.
Creepy pictures with smokey spine-chilling written messages and blurry abstract entities make “Seeing Things: Ghost Polaroids” the perfect Halloween exhibit. Many people say seeing is believing, this is definitely an exhibit you want to see.
