Triple Threat @ Cerasoli Gallery
Tuesday, 14 April 2009 13:47
The Cerasoli Gallery is proud to bring to SoCal residents a unique and impressive “Triple Threat” exhibit featuring three prominent and up-and-coming artists with completely different style and technique but with one thing that brings them together: the love of art, painting, and all things abstract. Don’t expect to see anything commercial or stuff you’re used to checking out. These three artists excel at thinking outside the box, breaking the norm and utilizing their technique and artistry to make their point across in a distinctive conceptual manner. Inside the Cerasoli Gallery mini-complex you’ll find a gallery for each of the artists: John Grande’s “Glamour and Gloom”, Franziska Klotz’s “Nowhere Right Here”, and Nick Potter’s “Society of Spectacle”.
Gallery Two will be housing the works of German-born artist Franziska Klotz. On “Nowhere Right Here”, she showcases her distinctive style, known for deconstructing art and putting it back together in such a way that the remains of what she used as inspiration at the beginning are unrecognizable.
Last but not least, in Gallery Three you’ll find “Society of Spectacle”, an art exhibit by British artiste and professor Nick Potter, featuring sharp and architectural spaces and patterns with a modern and abstract twist.
